Vice President Leslie H. Schultz spoke at Christchurch School’s Career Night event on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Christchurch is a private boarding school located in Christchurch, Virginia where Henderson, Inc. has performed many projects. The school also has ties to the Henderson family.

Leslie spoke to a group of approximately 80 students about careers in the construction industry. She detailed the suggested education, career paths, and possible hurdles within the field. She also spoke about the path she took and her personal experiences as a construction industry professional.

“The event was a resounding success,” said Chris Upton, Christchurch School Alumni Council member. “All the feedback [the Director of Alumni Relations] received from the students was positive and students were even pulling him aside to tell him how great the presentations were.”

The purpose of the event was to equip students with the tools they need as they embark on their chosen career paths, as well as expose them to new career areas.
