Brian Wilson

Brian has been with Henderson since 2014. As a Superintendent, he brings a firm understanding of what subcontractors need in order for them to do their job most efficiently. He gets the most satisfaction from watching his team grow and succeed. The Monticello Shopping Center project has been one of his favorites so far.

Brian was born and raised in Gloucester, VA. He has his hands full with threechocolate labs named Mossy Oak, Fiocchi, and Al Capone. If he is not working, he is most likely tending to the dogs, studying to be a fly fishing guide, or traveling.

It’s not the mountains we conquer, it’s ourselves.

Vincent Redman

Vincent Redman

Vincent’s job as a superintendent is managing subcontractors and keeping everybody on schedule. His favorite memory at Henderson is when they were working at the new Assisted Living Addition at the Williamsburg Landing & it was so special because his son was born during that time.

When Vincent is not at work, he enjoys hunting and fishing, and being outdoors with his wife, 2 kids, dog, and his 2 horses. He also is an active member at his church and does a lot of volunteer work.

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Mike Powell

Mike is a Project Manager and has been with us since 1999. A typical day for Mike is coordinating with subcontractors and managing job costs. One of the best skills Mike has is his ability to build relationships with people.

Mike is VA born and raised. He is married to his wife, Megan and they have two kids and two dogs. He is happiest when he gets to be anywhere outside, more specifically fishing, being out on the water, or at the beach.

Ben Phaup

Ben Phaup

Ben joined Henderson in 2016. He says every day is a new challenge for him as Superintendent. To be the best Superintendent he can be, he brings his customer service skills, ability to motivate, and his positive attitude to work. His favorite project so far has been the Williamsburg Resort.

Ben is Virginia-born and raised. He is married to fellow Henderson team member Amy, and has two kids, two dogs, and one cat. In his free time, you can find him building drag racing bikes or listening to some Bob Dylan.

Steve Montgomery

Steve Montgomery

Steve’s days at Henderson as a Superintendent is managing subcontractors and keeping everybody on schedule. He says his typical day at Henderson is “crazy, fun, and rewarding”. His favorite project at Henderson has been the Party City in Hampton.

Steve is from Newport News, Virginia and is married. He has two children, Cole and Catherine. He loves going to the Outer Banks in North Carolina when he is away from work.

Jim Mitchell

Jim Mitchell

Jim came to us in 2002 and spent 13 years with us, left for a while, and found his way back in 2017. His ability to understand what the team needs, and his knowledge of the job is what makes him a good Superintendent. One of his favorite projects to date has been the Shenkman Jewish Center.

Originally from Lancaster County, VA Jim likes to spend his time hanging out with his family, especially his grandkids. He also really enjoys woodworking.

Honest day’s work for an honest day’s pay.

Neil Marshall

Neil hails from Gloucester and has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. His leadership skills, trade experiences, and communication skills make him a great fit in our organization.

He enjoys being with his wife and daughters, hunting, fishing, and playing golf.

It’s not the years in the life, it’s the life in the years.

Daniel Laine

Daniel Laine

Daniel has been with Henderson since 2006. He brings his vast knowledge of all scopes of construction to his role as Superintendent. Most days are extremely busy as he is in charge of controlling the job site and all the people on the site. His favorite project at Henderson has been the Montross Shooting Range project.

Daniel has not been a Virginian his whole life as he hails from Houston, Texas. Outside of work, he can be found spending time with his two daughters, Autumn and Ava.

Jerry Legg

Jerry Legg

Jerry came to Henderson Inc in 2023 with nearly three decades on construction experience. His experience, attitude, and overall knowledge of the industry make him a great asset to any project he works on.

When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it.

Randy Koob

Randy’s career in construction started in 1985 and he has shown himself to be a true asset to Henderson, Inc. since his arrival to us in 2022.  He is also among the many family members we are blessed to have since his son Brandon also works in our company.

Randy has been a part of the Williamsburg community all of his life and enjoys spending his free time golfing, being at the beach and spending time with his two sons.
