During a recent monthly Safety Meeting with the entire Henderson, Inc. team, Safety Dave (Dave Thompson) took on blood borne pathogen training and showcased how to remove contaminated gloves.
The exercise is “easy to do,” Thompson said.
First, put on gloves. Then grab dish washing detergent,which represents the blood for the exercise.
Get a good amount of the dish detergent in your gloves and spread it all over the place, all over both gloves, to simulate two contaminated gloves.
The exercise is to remove both gloves without touching the simulated blood.
