Steve Burford

Stephen’s typical day at Henderson as a Project Manager starts with lots of coffee and emails, then he heads out to visit and manage job sites. Stephen started working at Henderson in 2004, worked there for 4 years, then went off to college. He returned to Henderson in 2015. Stephen’s favorite memories at Henderson is that he has had many different positions over the years and has gotten to work with many different people.

Stephen is originally from Orlando, Florida. When he isn’t at work, he enjoys spending time with his son fishing and being outdoors. In his free time he also coaches for his son’s little league.

Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.

Darrell Baker

Darrell Baker

Darrell has been with Henderson since 1998. As a Pipe Superintendent, he uses his ability to get people to “buy-in” to get the job done. He is also one of our mentors who is helping to educate the next generation of Henderson, Inc.

Even though Virginia is where Darrell resides now, he is originally from Miami, FL. On his off-time, Darrell likes to spend time with family and his dog, Sparkle.

Go, Steelers!

Jerome Alves

Jerome Alves

Jerome has been with Henderson since 2002. What he brings to his role as Superintendent is a deep knowledge of the different scopes of work that are needed to complete the job. Aside from being a big fan of the company Christmas parties, Jerome’s favorite memory is when he worked on the Great Wolf Lodge project.

Originally from Massachusetts, Jerome and his girlfriend are now raising their three children here in Virginia. If Jerome is not on the job site managing subcontractors, you can probably find him in the woods hunting or out on the water fishing.
